GRAFFITI CAIRN
TERRIERS
In 1987, I began my breeding program under the affix "Graffiti", now
permanently registered with the Canadian Kennel Club.
The word
graffiti is derived from the Italian word graffio (“scratch”), and graffiti (“incised inscriptions,” plural but often used as singular) has the same meaning in French and English.
Graffiti – it’s a good way to leave an indelible mark.
I met my husband to be when he came to buy an Airedale from my first litter.
I was pretty sure that he loved dogs enough to live with me and my gang. In
1989, André became my companion for life and my husband a few years later. During our University studies we stopped breeding and
slowed down most of our activities in the dog world.
In 1991 we bought our foundation bitch for our new breeding program. At this time
we really loved the great personality of the Airedale and with Rhapsody we fell in love with the versatility of the breed. The Graffiti family, is proud to produce and own dogs who are titled

The
year 2002 was a turning point in our family, we adding a second breed to our kennel and bought our first Cairn Terrier.
Our son Marc-Oliver and daughter Frédérique socialize the dogs and
enjoy living with Cairns at home. Through our breeding and selection, we strive to maintain the Airedale and Cairn Terriers, their beauty, health and intelligence. Our puppies are born
at home and socialized within our family. As you could see in the picture above, my “dog story” at first is now a family affair.
I was be
member of the Airedale Terrier Club of Canada as Regional Director during 10
years, the Airedale Terrier Club of America, the High Altitude Airedale Terrier Club and
now
active member of the CKC since
1986 and the Cairn Terrier Club of Canada. We are always
eager to learn and we participate in many seminars. Through out our Airedale and Cairn life we meet a lot of great people and many became good friends (to many to named here), Some important people have helped us and we want to thank Louise & Johanne, Doreen & Bob, April, Louise Chady & Yvan Mongeon and Bonnie & Steve Gilbert.
